Congratulations to the Varsity Team and Coaches for being Regional Champions!

The football season will officially end with Sunday’s Banquet. Congratulations to the Varsity team and Coaches for being Regional Champions and making it to the Sectional game of the State Playoffs for the first time in over a decade!

Please read below for important information regarding the Football Banquet, Equipment return, Letter Jackets and more…..

Football Banquet. November 20th at 4:00 pm in Main Gym. Banquet RSVP’s and payment were due today to Tammy Carter. Please contact Tammy immediately at carteracarte@aol.com if for some reason you have not sent in your RSVP but plan to attend.

All Sophomore and Junior players must be at SME Sunday at 10:00 am to help set up for the banquet. Parent helpers are needed also.

All Freshmen players must stay after the banquet to help with clean-up. Parent volunteers are needed to stay and help also.

Senior Helmets. All seniors need to bring their helmet to SME at 11:30 on Sunday so players can finish signing each other’s helmets. Paint pens will be provided. If a player cannot be at SME Sunday morning they should have someone else bring their helmet to the gym. Players who can’t come Sunday morning should plan to be at the Banquet by 3:45 to sign the helmets.

Equipment Return. Per Coach Sherman, players need to return their equipment Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday after school. Please launder all pants and jerseys before returning them!

SME Letter Jackets. If you are interested in ordering an SME letter jacket, you can do so at Nil Bros Sporting Goods at 119th & Metcalf or through Mark Harper at Game Time Sports. Mark Harper’s number is (913) 271-6060. Nil Bros usually has a limited number of SME jackets in stock. The jackets sold by Mark Harper are custom made and orders with Mark must be placed by Wednesday, November 23rd with delivery expected after New Year’s Day.
